SisterCare is a nonprofit organization that aims to establish an environment where women are able to build meaningful and lasting relationships with women of their communities in America and Africa by taking care of women and children in need. Whether the need is emotional, spiritual, physical or financial, we aim to serve with love.

Our first project was a donation of maternity supply bags to women in Ghana who are giving birth in hospitals. This idea came about when the organization's founder, Bequita Linder Mahama, had an emergency situation and quickly learned how many items she needed to take to the hospital to give birth. The next year, the organization started donating maternity supplies to women in need giving Bequita's experience an avenue to make a positive impact.
